Six attempt suicide in AP over 'police harassment'

Warangal, Dec 5 (UNI) Six persons attempted to suicide by ingesting poison in front of a police station near Shirole in this district today, unable to bear alleged police harassment.

Police said they came to the station in Kuravi mandal this morning over a kidnap case. The sub-inspector reportedly argued with them.

They emerged from the police station and consumed poison. They were shifted to Mahaboobabad Area Hospital for treatment, where the condition of three was stated to be critical.
