Rs 8 lakh missing from ATM

Bhopal, Dec 5 (UNI) Cash totalling over Rs 8 lakh was found missing from an ATM of the State Bank of Indore in the city's Piplani area, police said today.

The mysterious incident came to the notice of bank officials, when a customer alerted them after he failed to withdraw cash this morning.

Superintendent of Police A K Singh said the ATM's door was found broken, but the camera was intact.

Bank Manager Sanjay Bedi said Rs 6 lakh was put into the ATM last evening and the exact amount missing was being assessed.
