RJD demands CBI probe into lady Professor's murder in Patna

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) The Rashtriya Janata Dal today made demanded a CBI probe into the recent murder of a lady Professor of Patna University and her maid.

Raising the issue in Rajya Sabha after question hour, RJD leader Prof Ramdeo Bhandari said that the death had taken place in a posh locality inhabited by top bureaucrats and a stone's throw away from the local police station.

He said former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi had demanded a CBI probe into the murder and people of Bihar should not be allowed to be cheated in the name of providing good governance, making an oblique reference to the claims of Janata Dal (United) and BJP coalition.
