Publish ward-wise electoral rolls on Dec 7: SEC

Hyderabad, Dec 5 (UNI) The State Election Commission (SEC) today directed the Hindupur Municipality Commissioner to publish the ward-wise electoral rolls on December 7, which would be utilised in the forthcoming elections to the municipality.

SEC Secretary G N Rao said here the ward-wise electoral rolls was under preparation and would be published by the concerned Commissioner on December 7.

He appealed that all political parties should verify the ward-wise electoral rolls to be published by the concerned municipality and take necessary steps for filing claims and objections for inclusion and deletion wherever necessary, as per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India.
