Professor suspended for accepting money from student
Hyderabad, Dec 5 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government today suspended a professor of Osmania Medical College from services for accepting money from a student promising to pass him in the practical examination.
Speaking to newspersons here, State Health Prinicipal Secretary Agarwal said the professor VSR Prasad was found guilty, after an enquiry was conducted to look into the issue, by the College Principal Ashok Kumar.
The state government also constituted a high-power committee to inquire into a media report stating that the faculty members of Government Medical Colleges accept money from students to help them clear practical examinations.
