Nine quintal poppy husk seized

Sangrur, Dec 5 (UNI) Police nabbed a man with 30 bags of poppy husk at Ubhewal village in Sangrur district of Punjab.

According to police, on a tip-off, a checkpost was set up and Sarabjit Singh alias Kala, was caught with 30 bags of poppy husk weighing a total of nine quintals in his truck yesterday.

Police has arrested Sarabjit under NDPS and seized the poppy husk and the truck.
