Month long Computer Literacy prog completes

Agartala, Dec 05: Tripura's first lady Manju Sahaya has stressed need of computers and its applications among the inmates of women-home.

A month long training programme on computer literacy programme (CLP) for inmates of women-home was completed under the aegis of GNOU, regional centre here.

Ms Sahaya said such computer training programme should be conducted in future to benefit these women.

The CLP certificate course includes computer fundamentals along with Web Technologies and Trouble shooting (PC-Edusat), sources said.

The training programme was conducted by the Teleconferencing Unit of the Regional Centre and state Social Welfare department.
