Intruder with 10 kg heroin killed

Ferozpur, Dec 5 (UNI) The Border Security Force today killed an intruder at Hussainiwala border in the district this morning, while he was trying to sneak into India with 10 kg of heroin.

BSF Commandant Kailash Chand said that jawans posted at Jagdish Post spotted three persons trying to cross the border in the wee hours.

He said one of them was killed in the firing when he ignored the caution, while two others managed to escape. The Pakistani Rangers refused to take back the body when informed and said that he was not their man.

The value of the contraband seized is about Rs 10 crore in the international market, he added.
