Indian pairs win beach volley matches

Doha, Dec 5 (UNI) The Indian pairs of Mohan Poothathan-Pradeep John and Mohammed Jameeluddin-Shashidhar Tilkam won their beach volley matches in straight sets in the 15th Asian Games here today.

The Poothathan-John duo beat Omran Osama Ali and Al Merza Qader Abdulla of Bahrain (26-24, 21-14) in 44 minutes while Jameeluddin and Tilkam needed 42 minute to tame the Oman pair of Al Maqbali Yaqoob and Al Farsi Ibrahm 21-17, 21-17.
