Huge arms dump unearthed from Nallamala forest

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 5 (UNI) The district police unearthed a huge arms dump consisting of rocket launchers from the Nallamala forests here today.

Talking to newspersons here, District Superintendent of Police (SP) Balasubramaniam said 25 rocket launchers, seven hand grenades, four tapanchas, 500 roulds of ammunition, 407 rounds of DBBL ammunition and two walky talkies were unearthed from the forest.

A 0.38 revolver, nine mm carbine, 410 musket, eight mm rifle, DBBL gun and SBBL gun were also recovered, he added.
