General Motors India launches Aveo U-Va from its Halol factory

Ahmedabad, Dec 5 (UNI) The first Chevrolet Aveo U-Va rolled off the production line at the General Motors India's manufact uring facility in Halol today.

According to President and MD of GM India Mr Rajeev Chaba, who presided over the launching ceremony, ''Aveo U-Va is a global product sold in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific and has been re-engineered for India based on extensive testing done across the country''.

''It is an important addition to the Chevrolet family that will enable us to further tap into the growing compact segment'', said Mr Chaba.
