Festival to reunite Mizos

Aizawl, Dec 5: The Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), an apex student body of the state, today said they have organised 'Zofest' here next week to reunite various tribes of India, Bangladesh and Myanmar.

A MZP statement issued here said lost Mizo tribes like Chiru, Parau, Aimol, Chothe, Maring and Kom form different parts of the country and abroad would be participating in the festival schedule to be held on December 13 and 14.

Mizos along with several other tribal clans from North Eastern region would also participate in the festival to ensure cultural exchange for the betterment of the tribals, the statement added.
