Criminal shoves police escort, flees

Kanpur, Dec 5 (UNI) A criminal today absconded after shoving his police escort down a local court premises in Kanpur city.

According to police, two criminals had been brought to the court for hearing, when the duo pushed the cops escorting them and fled.

However, one of the assailant was caught, while the other managed to escape.

Later, the injured cop was admitted in Urshula Hospital.
