CII signs MoU with FEC Japan

Hyderabad, Dec 5 (UNI) Chairman of the Japan-India Cultural Economic Exchange Committee of the International Friendship Exchnage Council Hiromichi Jujita today underlined the need for more exchanges between the two countries to improve bilateral trade.

Addressing a gathering after signing of Memorandum of Understanding with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here, he said India was maintaining high growth in all fields and developing rapidly.

He said this was the first time a Japanese delegation was visiting Hyderabad. The MoU would strengthen the Industrial relations between the two countries.

Chairman of the CII Andhra Pradesh Dr G Vivekanand said CII had been playing a very proactive role in the overall development of the state and working in close partnership with the state government in several initiatives like Exports, Textiles, Retail, Information Technology and others.

He said the CII's vision was to be a catalyst for building India as a Developed nation by 2020.

He said to enhance economic cooperatiion and bilateral trade between India and other countries, CII was organising various activities and programmes like taking delegations to various countries and seminars and conference, Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, Buyer Seller meetings and create forums for the Indian Industry to interact with the incoming delegations from across the globe.
