Chakravarty is new Commissioner in Bangladesh

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) Mr Pinak R Chakravarty has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh.

Mr Chakravarthy, currently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), will succeed Ms Veena Sikri.

He is expected to take up his assignment shortly, an MEA press release said.
