Aged couple found murdered

Kanpur, Dec 5 (UNI) An aged and childless couple were found murdered inside their house in Kakadeo area here this morning.

Kanpur Range DIG Daljit Singh Chaudhary said, a 'ghee' trader Khem Chandra and his wife Basant lived alone.

The couple were strangled by unidentified miscreants late last night, Mr Chaudhary added.

However, the couple had an adopted child Shyamkali, who recently tied the knot with her sweet-heart.

Meanwhile, investigations were on.
