507 children found working in dangerous work places

Ahmedabad, Dec 5 (UNI) At least 507 children were found working in dangerous work places today.

About 1,254 children were rescued from Sanand, Bavla, Viramgam, Ranakpur, Daskroi and Dholka of the district under the Child Labour Prevention Act, said a release here.

The first NGO-run school was started in Sanand mainly for child labourers, which was inaugurated by District Collector D Thara.

Shortly, 10 more schools would be opened in the district, the release added.
