2 naxalites killed in encounter

Jagdalpur, Dec 5 (UNI) Two naxalites were killed in an encounter with the security forces in Abujhmarh area under Narayanpur police station limits in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh this morning.

Bastar Range IG R K Vij said CRPF and Chhattisgarh Special Armed Force jawans had encounter with the ultras while patrolling the forest between Vastibahar and Kurla villages.

Mr Vij said two rifles had been recovered from the deceased naxalites, who were yet to be identified. One naxalite was in uniform, he added.
