2 killed, 7 injured in gas cylinder explosion

Rewari, Haryana, Dec 5 (UNI) Two persons were killed and seven seriously injured in a gas cyclinder explosion at Circular Road here today.

The explosion occurred outside a gas Agency office when cylinders were being loaded in a three-wheeler, killing Dharam Raj and Ved Prakash on the spot and seriously injuring seven others.

Three of the injured--Desh Raj, Hansraj and Jai Singh--were admitted to a local hospital while the four others, yet to be identified, were referred to AIIMS, New Delhi.

The cause of the explosion was yet to be ascertained.
