UP to regularise 2400 specialised teachers
Lucknow, Dec 4 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today decided to regularise the appointment of 2,400 secondary teachers of specialised subjects, who are at present under ad hoc system.
The decision was taken at the state cabinet meeting chaired by chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav here.
At present these teachers who are receiving a monthly fixed wage of Rs 5,000 would be regularised.
In another decision, the government decided to introduce Smart Card system for all vehicles purchased in the state from June 1, next year.
The Smart Card will provide all information about the vehicle and its owner. A Consumer has to pay an additional fee of Rs 395 for the Smart Card.
This system is already under operation in Rajasthan, Kerala and Maharashtra.
