UP govt approves vote-on-accounts for next fiscal
Lucknow, Dec 4 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today approved the vote-on-accounts for first four months of the next financial year which is expected to be tabled in the assembly tomorrow.
State cabinet meeting chaired by chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav this morning approved the vote-on-accounts for the months from April to July in 2007-08.
A senior minister in the cabinet said the government was preparing for the assembly polls in February, hence it brought the vote-on-accounts.
He informed the proposal of vote-on-accounts might be tabled in the assembly tomorrow.
The present government had already approved two supplementary budgets during the current financial.
