Thousands of devotees take part in 'Kalasajyoti'

Vijayawada, Dec 4 (UNI) Thousands of devotees of "Bhavani" today took out a 'Kalasajyoti' procession as part of their 40-day-long Bhavani Deeksha organised by Sridurga Malleswara Swami Devasthanam here.

The procession started from Sivarama Krishna Kshertam.

A silver chariot mounted with the idol of Goddess Kanakadurga, Gangabhavani and Lord Malleswara Swamy, lead the procession.

The procession will reach the Kanaka Durga temple atop the Indrakeeladi Hill this night.
