The Mulky Town limping back to normal

Mangalore, Dec 4 (UNI) The situation in Mulky town, which witnessed large-scale violence and killing of two people in police firing on December One, is limping back to normal with no untoward incident being reported.

Though curfew in Mulky police limit is in force till morning tomorrow, the district administration permitted holding the annual ''Pratista Hunnime Mahotsav Car Festival tonight at the famous Sri Venkataramana temple. Despite curfew, the devotees were seen visiting the temple in large numbers. Two roads in the town have been kept open for visiting the temple.

Vehicle movement, which was limited due to curfew on the national highway passing through the town, had been restored.

Violence brokeout on Friday last following murder of a local BJP leader by some unidentified persons.
