Techno City to come up in Kerala capital
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 4 (UNI) The Kerala Cabinet today decided to acquire 500 acres of land near the state Capital under the fast track mechanism for the proposed Techno City project, Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said today.
Talking to newspersons here, the Chief Minister said the project would come up at Kazhakoottam, near the Technopark.
He said an all-party meeting would be held here soon to discuss further steps to be taken for the implementation of the Vizhinjam Container Terminal project in view of the Centre's objection to a Chinese company that won the bid. The date for the meeting would be finalised after holding discussion with political parties.
Besides approving the draft policy for the oldage, the Cabinet also decided to constitute eleven more Excise Range Offices in the state, he added.
