Sheikh Abdullah was architect of modern Kashmir : Governor Sinha
Jammu, Dec 4 (UNI) Former Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah was an architect of modern Kashmir, who worked relentlessly for strengthening the social fabric of ''multi-lingual and multi-cultural'' state, Governor Lt Gen (Retd) S K Sinha today said.
In his message on 101 birth anniversary of Sheikh Abdullah, Governor Sinha said: ''Mr Abdullah was a true, secular and nationalist leader, who was a source of inspiration to the rest of country at the time of partition.'' ''the land reforms brought by Sheikh Sahib was a pioneering and landmark step towards making the tillers masters of their destiny'' the Governor observed.
