Scientists favour second term for Kalam

Hyderabad, Dec 4: The scientific fraternity of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) wants President A P J Abdul Kalam to get a second term.

Speaking to newspersons here, Air Defence Programme Director and Chief Controller of Research and Development of the DRDO V K Saraswat said, ''We want Dr Kalam to get a second term. He is the right person for the top post, who ignited the minds of people and students to strive for making India a developed country with his 'vision 2020'.'' ''We are inspired by Dr Kalam and he is still closely associated with the technological developments in defence and missile technology,'' he said.
