Rs 568 cr supplementary demand for Railways: Lalu

New Delhi, Dec 4 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today presented in the Lok Sabha a Supplementary Demand for Grant for his Ministry, seeking an additional Rs 568 crore during the current financial year.

Much of the demand would go for the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramula project, according to the Minister's statement.

Mr Prasad also presented demands for excess grants for 2004-05.
