Italy offers scholarship to attract Indian students

Bangalore, Dec 4 (UNI) Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Italian Trade Commission has comeout with 60 scholarships to attract Indian students to study in their country.

Mr Mauro Battocchi of Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, speaking on ''Invest your talent in Italy'' here today, said the Ministry, Italian Universities and Chamber of Commerce have come together to attract Indian student with Scholarships.

He said that Italy, being the Seventh largest economy in the world, provided good opportunity for Indian students who would like to pursue their Post-graduatioon courses, especially in Information and Communication Technology, Management and Design.

After completion of University course, the student would be offered internships in leading Italian companies so that students get sufficient working knowledge before applyinhg for jobs, he said.

The roadshow, in which seven Italian Universities are participating, would cover all major metros in India.
