International workshop on 'Captive Breeding of Vultures'

Chandigarh, Dec 4 (UNI) An international workshop on 'Captive Breeding of Vultures' is going to be organised at Vultures Care and Breeding Centre (VCBC) in Pinjore from December 5 to 7.

Haryana Minister of State for Forests Kiran Choudhry said representatives from various international organisations like, Royal Society for Protection of Birds, UK, National Birds of Prey Trust, UK, Pregrine Funds of US, Wildlife Institute of India, Central Zoo Authority, IVRI and Chief Wildlife Wardens of various states would participate in it.

A manual on best practises of ex-situ conservations of vultures would also be brought out in the workshop, she added.
