Foreign militant among two killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 4 (UNI) A foreign militant was among two people killed in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.

They said security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir killed a foreign militant in an encounter at Bandipora in north Kashmir district of Baramulla last night. The encounter ensued after a joint search party was attacked by the militants. One AK rifle and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.

Militants shot at and wounded one Waseem Ahmad Zargar at Baramulla last night. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
