Eight injured as jeep overturns

Kolhapur, Dec 4 (UNI) Eight persons were today injured when a jeep in which they were travelling overturned and fell about 200 feet deep ravine near village Khamkarwadi in Radhanagari tehsil of the district.

The mishap occurred in the afternoon when the jeep driver lost control on the wheel, police sources said.

The injured, who belonged to a family, hailed from village Shirgaon. Among the injured were two women and two children. All of them have been admitted to the civil hospital here. The condition of three is stated to be serious, hospital sources said.
