City Corporation to implement 24x7 water supply scheme soon

Rajahmundry, Dec 4 (UNI) Rajahmundry City Corporation Mayor M S Chakravarthy today said the Corporation would implement 24x7 water supply scheme within a year.

Talking to media here, he said the Asian Mayors Conference held at Dehra Dun discussed several issues related to drinking water supply, well designed sewage, drainage system, systematic garbage disposal system, air pollution and water pollution.

He said the meeting had adopted 12 important resolutions including urging countries to initiate financial reforms and decentralise powers to local bodies.
