Banian clothes unit owners, workers organised one-day fast

Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, Dec 4 (UNI) About 3,000 workers and owners of dyeing and processing units of banian clothes today organised one-day fast demanding that state and Central government should provide subsidy for installing effluent treatment plants, here.

The agtitators also demanded six months time to install treatment plant. It may be recalled that High Court's order to install treatment plant, around 300 dyeing and processing units had already started to install treatment plants.
