Azhar slams Team India
Indore, Dec 4 (UNI) stating that Team India's performance in South Africa was ''the worst till date,'' former skipper Mohammad Azharuddin today attributed the poor show to Coach Greg Chappell's experiments.
''Too much experimentation is going on, there is no strategy and the players are not receiving proper guidance. They are under immense pressure,'' he told reporters here.
In the context of selecting a new coach and captain for the World Cup, Azhar said the championship was too close to afford much experimentation.
''Sourav Ganguly is a very experienced player and should make the most of his return to the team,'' he felt while adding that the condition of domestic pitches must improve.
