ACA appoints new Chief Co-ordinator, Director

Vijayawada, Dec 4 (UNI) The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has appointed K Pardhasaradhi as Chief Co-ordinator of Women's wing of Andhra Cricket Association and A Anuradha as Director for north zone to spot talent and select players.

In a release here today, ACA General Secretary N Venkata Rao said the appointments were made after consultations with respective district cricket associations.

The ACA had decided to develop the game for women in Andhra Pradesh as per the guidelines of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The ACA had informed the district associations to organise selection matches.

He said the Women Cricket Association of India had merged with the BCCI and as per BCCI guidelines, the ACA and its 13 affiliated district associations were the authorised bodies to develop, organise and conduct selection for a state team.
