4 killed in road accident

Muzaffarnagar, Dec 4 (UNI) At least four people were killed when their car, coming from Haryana, rammed into a stationary tractor-trolley on Shamli-Kairana highway late last night, police today said.

The occupants of the car were going on their wat to Haridwar, when the vehicle's brakes failed and it rammed into the tractor-trolley laden with sugarcane.

The deceased were identified as Pankaj, Rahul, Anurag Dahia and Shyam.

Another car occupant Ashok sustained grievous injuries and was admitted to hospital.
