35 per cent polling in Bobbili; 26 in Karimnagar

Hyderabad, Dec 4 (UNI) About 35 and 26 per cent polling was registered by 1100 hrs in the by-elections to Bobbili and Karimnagar Lok Sabha seats, respectively.

Polling was proceeding on peacefully in both the constituencies, police sources said.

However, police had to resort to lathicharge in two villages of the two constituencies to disperse activists of various political parties gathered outside the polling stations.
