17 per cent polling in Dungarpur seat by 1100 hrs
Jaipur, Dec 4 (UNI) An estimated 17 per cent polling was reported in the bypoll to the Dungarpur Assembly(ST) seat in Rajasthan by 1100 hrs.
As of now, the situation in the constituency in a predominantly tribal belt of the state with nearly 58,628 voters has remained peaceful.
The by election was nesseciated by the demise of six-time Congress MLA Nathuram Ahari. The competition is mainly between the Congress' Punjilal Parmar and the BJP's Surmal Parmar, though an independent candidate is also in the fray.
