Women shooting trap team continues silver rush for India
Doha, Dec 3 (UNI) India added a shooting Silver to its kitty after the trio of Harveen Srao, Sonia Rai and Shweta Chaudhary finished second in the women's 10m Air Pistol team event at the 15th Asian Games here today.
China won the Gold with a new Games record of 1161, eclipsing their own previous mark of 1156, which they had set up in Busan.
The Indian trio totalled 1142 for Silver while North Korea won Bronze with 1140.
Among the Indians, Harveen Srao topped the list, shooting 383 (95,98,94,96) while Sonia Rai shot 381 (98,93,94,96) and Shweta Chaudhary contributed 378 (94,98,94,92).
Harveen has also qualified for the individual event in this category.
