Woman killed, husband injured after fall from Blueline

New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) A 20-year-old woman died and her husband was injured when the driver of a speeding Blueline bus applied brake all of a sudden in Roop Nagar area of North Delhi.

While the woman died after she came under the rear wheel of the blueline, plying on Route No 212, her husband Ram Kumar got his hand fractured after the couple fell from the bus at Malkaganj Chowk in Roop Nagar, said the police.

Kumar has been admitted to the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital.

The bus has been impounded though the driver was absconding. The cleaner of the bus Kanwar Pal has been detained, police added.
