Lucknow, Dec 3: Security has been beefed up in the state after Railway authorities in Moradabad received an anonymous letter threatening to blow up the railway station and Sangh offices on December 6, the 14th anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.

GRP sources said here that Moradabad station master Ram Gopal received a letter yesterday threatening to blow up the station and a bridge built on Laksar by-pass on December 6. The letter also threatened to target Roadways buses on the same day.

Though sources said the authorities were treating the letter as a prank, security has been beefed up at various railway stations across the state.
