Supermodel Milind walks ramp to create awareness against MS

Mumbai, Dec 3 (UNI) In an attempt to create awareness regarding the deadly disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS), supermodel Milind Soman walked the ramp at the Mahalaxmi race course, here today.

''I will always be there for your cause anytime you need me,'' said the supermodel who is also the Brand Ambassador of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of India.

Bollywood film producer Mahesh Bhatt was also present in spite of the fact that his daughter, Pooja Bhatt, has met with an accident on Friday.

''I am glad I came,'' a visibly moved Bhatt said.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an incurable neurological disorder in which the simplest everyday tasks can no longer be taken for granted. There are 40,000 to 50,000 estimated cases of MS in India.

Researchers are still unclear as to why this disease occurs.
