Pune, Dec 3 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Tamil Nadu.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, north Rajasthan, south Gujrat Region, Saurashtra, Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, coastal and south interior Karnatka and Andman and Nicobar Islands.

Dry weather will prevail over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of coastal Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, southwest Rajasthan, Saurahtra and Kutch.

They were below normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and in some parts of Konkan and Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra and interior Karnataka.

The temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha, south Chhattisgarh, some parts of Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Gujrat Region, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

In remaining parts of Rajasthan, they were above normal in Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura and in remaining parts of Haryana, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Very light rain had occurred at isolated places in West Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu. Otherewise, dry weather prevailed over east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujrat, Kokan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala.
