RJD workers attacked in Punjab
Ludhiana, Dec 3 (UNI) At least four Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) workers were injured and window panes of nearly three vehicles were broken in an alleged attack here this afternoon.
The delegation of the RJD leaders, including National General Secretary SM Karim Alam, members of Parliament Alok Mehta and Vijay Krishan, ex-MP and RJD Women Cell head Saroj Dubey, National Secretary Abdul Qyoom Ansari, RJD Youth President Praladh Singh along with scores of workers were stopped and attacked near Gyaspur Chowk near here when they were going to address the rally organised by the Purvachal Vikas Parishad.
Mr Karim Alam told mediapersons that it was the pre planned move of the communal forces to scuttle their expansion in Punjab.
He said that not only RJD would spread its wings in Punjab but also contest elections in the coming Assembly elections next year.
