Ramesh's century takes Kerala score to 323

Palakkad, Dec 3 (UNI) An impressive knock of 118 runs by S Ramesh enabled Kerala to score 323 for eight in their first innings against Madhya Pradesh in the Plate A Ranji trophy match here today.

Opening batsman S Ramesh scored 71 runs yesterday and added 47 runs today.

An eighth wicket partnership of 71 by Vipinlal (37) and S Aneesh (34) then helped Kerala to get a first innings lead of 16 runs.

At the close of the day, Aneesh (42) and Tinu Yohannan (4) remained at the crease.

For Madhya Pradesh, medium pacers Sudhindra and Anand Raj, and off spinner Yogesh Golwalkar took two wickets each.
