Peerless opens Regional Office

Bangalore, Dec 3 (UNI) The Peerless General Finance and Investment Company opened its Regional Office in an attempt to strengthen its competitive edge in South India.

The Company also opened its first Peerless Securities branch in the City.

Speaking to newsmen here last night, Company Chairman D Basu said that the financial market in South India has been going through a sea of changes over the past few years and the need for a professional approach to the financial services industry was felt by one and all. It was to fill this vacuum and provide a bouquet of products and services which Peerless could aim at the Regional office was opened in the City.

''In Peerless family, South India particularly Karnataka is one of the most lucrative region and it has been steadily contributing to our depository assets since 1960,'' he added.

He said that the thrust area would be more in the line of distribution of financial products while maintaining a steady growth and development of the core business of the company.

He dwelt on the achievements of the company and also elaborated on the business modules which would be incorporated in the time to come.
