One dead, 4 ill after having poisonous food

Balrampur, Dec 3 (UNI) A man died and his four family members were taken seriously ill after consuming poisonous food here this afternoon.

Ahmed (45) died, while his wife Nazima (35), son Abdul, daughters Shabana (14) and Shabina (8) were taken critically ill after they consumed chapatis made out of flour in which pesticide pills got grinded along with wheat, police said.

The ill were rushed to hospital in serious condition, where they were referred for treatment in Gonda.
