Lucknow, Dec 3 (UNI) The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) today said the party has discussed the issue of seat sharing in the forthcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh with the Samajwadi Party (SP) but things are yet to be finalised.

RLD is the major ally of the Samajwadi Party-led Uttar Pradesh government.

Talking to mediapersons here, RLD President Ajit Singh said ''Party MP Anuradha Chaudhary has met with SP leader and PWD Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav but no decision regarding seat sharing has been taken as yet.'' In the coming Assembly polls, no coalition would be formed with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), he added.

In reply to a question, Mr Singh said ''even if President's rule is imposed in UP, it would not effect the results as in a democratic setup, people have the power to decide the fate of any political party. They would only vote for the party, that has worked for them.'' The sour relations between UP Governor T V Rajeshvar and Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav is not good and they should try not to make it public, he added.
