Indian shooters add a silver in trap team event

Doha, Dec 3 (UNI) Indian shooters added a silver to their kitty with Manavjit Singh Sandhu, Anwar Sultan and Mansher Singh coming second behind Kuwait in the trap team event at the Asian Games here today.

Lebanon won the bronze in this event.

India had earlier won two bronze in the 10 m rifles team events for men and women.

The Indian trio shot a total of 322 (113+110+99) to finish, five points behind gold medal winners Kuwait. The Lebanese team shot a score of 316 for the Bronze.

India had won a silver in this event at Busan 2002 as well.
