Holders Liverpool host Arsenal in FA Cup third round

LONDON, Dec 3 (Reuters) Holders Liverpool start their FA Cup defence with a mouthwatering third round tie against Premier League rivals and 2005 winners Arsenal.

The seven-times winners host the London side at Anfield in one of four all-Premier League ties produced by today's draw.

Manchester United, who have won the famous competition a record 11 times, welcome Aston Villa to Old Trafford, Everton host Blackburn Rovers and Portsmouth take on Wigan Athletic at Fratton Park.

Champions Chelsea host Macclesfield Town in a money-spinning tie for the struggling fourth division side, now managed by former England and Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince.

West Ham United, beaten on penalties in last season's final, are at home to Brighton&Hove Albion of the third division.

Minor league Tamworth, who also reached the third round last season, were handed a home draw against second division Norwich City.
